Roy Ole Layton

"Roy Ole Layton was named after his father. He was a true example of what makes a father wonderful. He is 85 years old and his keen mind of his childhood is amazing. He has never forgotten what made this town of Kaysville a great place to live. Just a few of his accomplishments, Marine Corp, Air Traffic Controller and raising a family with stability and strength. " Deborah Normington, his daughter.   She also supplied the photo of Roy and his catch for the day.

Fawn B. Morgan had the honor and joy to interview Roy for our Oral History Project.  Roy kept her laughing with stories that included one of Fawn's uncles.
