PRESERVATION - RAILROAD STORY & SONG! - CULTURE AND ART: Congratulations to Kaysville City for conducting the first meeting of the re-instituted Kaysville Preservation Commission. This is a necessary first step toward a promising future - thanks to Brittany Bremer, Rob Dansie, Elizabeth Heath, Mark Johnson, Judy Rigby, Michelle Barber, Katie Witt stepping up. There is SO much work to do, but many hands make light work!
Look for some important action, and much fun from this group, I hear. Speaking of fun the K-FH Museum has an entertaining event coming up to support Spike150. Mark on your calendar October 14th a railroad storytelling event at DHS. October 15th at Granny Annie's, they will sponsor a Meet the Candidates Night with emphasis on arts and culture in the community. See us there as well as at the Kaysville Stroll! EVERYONE IS INVITED TO CELEBRATE THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ROCK LOFT. MUSIC PROVIDED BY "TIMELESS". - PLEASE STOP BY THE OPEN HOUSE, ENJOY THE MUSIC, HAVE A DESSERT AND CHECK OUT THE MATTHEWS BROTHERS RENOVATION OF THE ROCK LOFT. FAWN B. MORGAN AND KRISTINE MURDOCK WILL HAVE THEIR LONG AWAITED BOOK "ROCK LOFT" AVAILABLE. IT TELLS THE 75 YEAR HISTORY OF FRUIT HEIGHTS AND THE ROCK LOFT.
